As a Floral and Event Designer, I am always looking for ways to help my customers get the biggest bang for their buck! One way to stretch the flower budget, is to incorporate the look of candles. Imagine having a rehearsal dinner of 10 round guest tables! Instead of having 10 vased arrangements that average 150.00 a piece, imagine if you dressed half the tables in candles. Alternating tables, gives you a great visual impact and helps save money. Imagine if those same 10 tables were split 4/3/3. 4 of the tables, are candlescapes, and always make sure the BULK of the tables are candles, 3 are full sized arrangements, and perhaps the other 3 are a variety of bud vases with a single stem or a few blooms. Be sure to place votives on all guest tables and voila! Now, that is what I call, having your cake and eating it too!
